Very friendly/helpful host. House clean and tidy, pool was fantastic. Bed linen, towels and cleaning products supplied. Lovely views. We were very lucky with the warm sunny weather on our visit so our children took full advantage of the pool. It's only down the hill to the supermarket (be warned you'll need a car as it's an extremely steep hill to get back down to the town approx 500m) we were able to park our motorhome outside the property.

We didn't want to leave

Groot huis van alle gemakken voorzien, drie x WC, 2x douche. 1 slaapkamer met eigen badkamer. Eigen parkeerplaats achter hek. Fijn verkoelend zwembad met 3 plaatsen om te zitten. Twee ligbedden. Huis ligt op ca. 2 km van supermarkten af, Aldi en Eroski (met tankstation). Via steile weg naar onderen te bereiken. Eigen auto/huur auto is zeer aan te bevelen.

Niets. Wel bijzonder is een groot raam op de achterkant, maar geen deur naar buiten. Alles moet via de voordeur (of doorgeven via het raam). In het centrum van Castro Urdiales is het lastig om parkeerplekken op straat te vinden. Probeer Eroski (paar minuten lopen van het strand) of ondergronds aan de boulevard.

There’s so little not to like! Yes, the property is a couple of km out of Castro, but this is detailed in the description. We did try to walk it once, I would not recommend it! Ronald was amazing from start to finish. The house was so super clean when we arrived, and every appliance you could wish for was there. We had a couple of rainy days during our two weeks, but that’s to be expected. And there is so much to do in the area that we were never bored. The pool was just gorgeous. It’s not heated, but in the heat of the day you need the lovely cool water to feel good! Ronald was brilliant. If we had any questions he would reply to my message within minutes. He was so helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. We really can’t wait to come back again soon and continue our exploring of the area.

I’m not a fan of super bright white lights, so some warm white bulbs and some side lights would have been a great addition, especially in the evening.
