La Casa dei colori

Elena was a wonderful host! It was very easy to communicate with her via WhatsApp to get the keys when we arrived. The apartment is very conveniently located in the town, making it easy to get around. Elena even helped us get a taxi to the airport when we were having issues with the train.

The drain in the shower wasn't working well and would flood the bathroom. As we were staying for 6 nights, it would have been nice to have an extra set of towels.

Helena (?) was an exceptional host, such a friendly lady! She showed us round the apartment and left us all sorts of goodies which we really appreciated. She also decorated the place for Easter which the grandchildren loved! The rooms and beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The 2 showers were good too. She has tried to think of everything we may need. Compared to other places it was also reasonably priced. The location was a lot quieter than Sorrento but with plenty of bars and restaurants. It was an easy walk to the train station to Sorrento etc.

A truely fantastic host and well appointed, comfortable apartment. The location was perfect for our busy stay with quick rail connections to Sorrento, Pompei etc. as well as local amenities (beach, restaurants etc) and views of buzzing street life. All rooms were immaculate with two shower rooms ideal for a family of four. Super quiet and cool with shutters snd and a/c for each room!

The apartment exceeded our expectations. Elena, The host is so friendly, she treated us like family. We had all the conveniences of home. We even have phone charging ports next to our beds so we didn’t have to use converters. The apartment is very modern and the location could be better! Multiple restaurants down the street and a 10 min walk to the train. I highly recommended this property!!

The host was amazing and left us with a substantial welcome pack of assorted pastries, soft drinks and water. She was there to show us round the apartment and explain what was on hand. Everything was brand-new and all the appliances worked well - it was absolutely spotless clean and has been very tastefully decorated, with great choice of colour on an otherwise brilliant white, bright and airy living space. The balcony looks over a lively town center and its really interesting just to sit and watch the world go by - it is a luxury apartment. Immediately you leave the building you are right there in the center of town and there are some great bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Check-out the old parts of the town towards the coast/Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata and see some great views across the bay. You can also sea an uninterrupted sunset from here. The train is a bit more of a walk than I expected, but its all down hill to get there where you can travel to Sorrento, Pompeii, Napoli etc.. It's also very cheap to travel around by train.

Being close to a busy road, you need to be prepared for some noise from the traffic below, particularly at rush hours. The town is nice, but not a lot to do. You can get to the beach, but its quite a long way down and the walk back up is a steep climb (typical of this coast line) The train can get very full, so travelling around can be a little cramped and uncomfortable in high season.
