"Peaceful colonial-style retreat in a beautiful beachside location."

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property is very quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful location close to the beach and a real colonial feel. Breakfast was delightful, and the close proximity to the airport is a big bonus. Evening meals require a short walk to nearby lodges or hotels.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be a welcome addition.

Schönes Herrenhaus und schöner Garten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage zum Flughafen

Leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es wirkte etwas ungepflegt. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und hätte sauberer sein können. Leider war es in der Nacht sehr laut, da anscheinend ein Tanzclub in der Nähe ist.

The breakfast was fresh and amazing. The bed was very comfortable, and the room fresh and airy. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. They were also knowledgeable and ready to assist even with minor mundane stuff. I really enjoyed chilling and having my meals in the garden with the beautiful view of the sea.

The occasional power cuts (not the hotel's fault), though it impacted on our stay. Perhaps the hotel can consider investing in solar power or a generator for using during the outages.

Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage und der Sonnenuntergang waren wunderschön. Zudem zeigten sie eine grosse Kullanz: wir sind wegen eines Flugproblems erst einen Tag später angereist. Wir haben am selben Tag der Buchung geschrieben und konnten unsere Buchung um diesen Tag verschieben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

"Pleasant, accessible, quiet, old charm mansion"

A lovely, quiet place with old charm to relax after a day out. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely view and easy beach access, even though the hotel is not directly on the beach. Good location, close enough to reach popular destinations like Stone town by TukTuk.

Small maintenance jobs need to be done (eg falling showercurtain, low water pressure) to perfect the impression.
