View/ location of the resort is only the good part.

First on the list would be the price discrepancy; like huge difference in price of the rooms on booking.com and the price asked on reception. I would request booking.com to verify the way property charges on their site and prices on ground. We had booked a cottage that they charged us 13k per night which when asked there on reception was just for 5-6k “negotiable”; so it’s almost double we paid in comparison to what other guests were paying by just walking in; what’s the point in booking through this site. Even worst is that as soon as the booking is done through booking.com the property will mail you stating 100% payment should be done within 3-5 days of booking or it will be cancelled. What sort of rule is this i have never made a payment until i checked in wherever I have booked through booking.com. Booking.com please look into it and verify this price discrepancy; this similar group has multiple properties even the stay at harsil at their property was not satisfactory; it seems like we have been cheated. Secondly,the owner/ manager is so rude that he doesn’t bother to answer the queries of the customer. Lastly, the staff is undertrained; have to repeat single thing multiple times. Think twice before booking or call the property before booking through website or consider some other property because in this terrain almost all the properties are similar. I completely understand that I cannot expect 5star hotel amenities at such locations; but then the property also needs to understand what are the numbers the are putting in the price section on various booking sites.
