Arida House Ubud by Bali Cabin

The room was beautiful and I liked that I had a break by the pool away from the loud roads of ubud. The price and value was totally ok.

The bed was a bit hard and I had to get used to the neighbours roosters. But that's really what Bali sounds like.

Good value for the money.

- Roosters singing every morning from 5AM for a few hours. - If someone from a next room is smoking outside, you will die as a nonsmoker in your "private" area outside.

Here’s a detailed review you can post about your experience at arida House in Bali: Disappointing Stay at Harida House – Not Recommended I stayed at arida House for one week during my 20-day trip to Bali, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. False Advertising: When booking, we were shown a room with an indoor kitchen, but upon check-in, we were given a completely different room with an outdoor kitchen. This was misleading and disappointing. Uncomfortable Bed: The bed was extremely uncomfortable, shaped like a "C" (curved), making it impossible to sleep properly. When we brought this up with the property owner, she simply dismissed our concerns, saying this is how it comes through Booking.com. snd bathroom door cannot be locked. Broken AC & Poor Customer Service: From the first day, the air conditioner was not working, and we had to suffer through two nights without it. When we initially asked for a fan, we were told that the facility does not provide one. However, after repeated complaints, we were finally given a fan. Invasion of Privacy: The worst part of our stay was when I went shopping at a local market, and the owner entered my room using a master key without informing me. She called an AC repair person and even did some cleaning—all while my personal belongings, including my jewelry, were inside. Even if maintenance was necessary, she should have waited for me to return. I expected my room to be a safe space, but this completely shattered my trust. Unprofessional Behavior: The owner was highly unprofessional. She would sit by the common pool area daily,and drink.what If someone needed assistance, she will come drunk? Noisy Environment: Another major issue was the noise from numerous roosters near the property—at least five to ten of them. Their constant crowing made it extremely difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Final Verdict: I do not recommend staying at arida House.

Cozy room with comfortable bed, clean towels, bed sheets and an amazing host. In the room there is cooler with a water, which also makes hot water. Has couple of nice cafes nearby, local small supermarket. To get to the main street need to take a scooter or to walk 23 min.

You can easily hear your neighbors next door. Plus roosters are also noisy, even though for me that was okay. Saucepan and frying pan are better to change, was not comfortable to use it, so didnt cook much.

Clean rooms, beds and towels. Hot/cold water dispenser in every rooms. Decent decor. The Owner lives onsite and let us use washing machine once. Around 20% of the total amount refunded for inconvenience.

Please be aware that neighbourhood is noisy with dogs and chicken from early morning. The house is located in a narrow alley. From the photos house seems large but compare to photos house is smaller. We had all the three rooms booked for our family. We had powercut issue throughout 4 night we stayed in. I must admit that owner has refunded 20% in cash so I ll let you judge. So the problem was as soon as we turn the AC on the power would cut off (tripped) so definitely the houses cant bear the load of 3 ACs turned on simultaneously. We know this because we had all three rooms booked. The we decided we only use 2 ACs but still same problem. Eventually we gave up and we ourselves turned on the trip switch on consistent basis. Owner lives onsite but I think some property management company actually manages/cleans the rooms. We dont know the exact cause why it happened but owner called the electrician and poor guy tried hard in heavy rains but to no avail. We were also offered by the management company an extra day complimentary but we refused as we had a flight to catch and honestly we wouldn't have accepted the offer any ways. So they offered around 20% of what we paid for 3 rooms for 4 nights and we took it. So if you are booking the place we recommend to enquire first whether the power issue has been sorted first. Do not expect the front of the house to be any luxurious. We have seen owner's little toy poodle(I assume) weeing in the front porch number of times! Not a good sight as you have to walk thorough there to go to the front gate. Expect the owner to INVESTIGATE your rooms before u check out! As soon as you check in count how many bathrobes are provided! We were questioned for the same although not rudely but we didnt used any but one was already missing before we arrived. The bathroom in the middle room with indoor kitchen is divided with a mere curtain! Dont expect much hot water. Do your research and then book. All in all 5 out of 10 from us.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service! I recently stayed at this hotel for a week, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was top-notch. One of the things I appreciated the most was the level of privacy and tranquility the hotel offered. It felt like a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My room was not only spacious and comfortable but also impeccably clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-maintained, and customer-oriented place to stay.

Good facilities and cleanness

Loud chickens on neighboring properties that start singing 4:50 am. But this is outside of control of owner.

Friendly staff! I didn't get what I paid for, the photos were old dated but manager quickly react once I raise the problem. Get offered late checkout and they sent a photograph next day to update the photos of the room. Nice swimming pool and comfortable bed.

Mosquitoes could get into the room due to roof not fully enclosed. As it's quite far away from town center you would expect it to be quiet but there are REALLY NOISY ROOSTERS, the house next door got at least 10 in cages it was very hard to sleep!
