Six Senses Yao Noi

Amazing Stay, Great Swimming Pool, Amazing Food in all Restaurants, Spacious well equipped rooms, very very clean everywhere, friendly and professional staff, great Spa, don't miss the BBQ nights. My only grippe is that the place and the view and the atmosphere is clearly made for an Adults Only Property, the only reason not to return for us, is the presence of kids.

Fantastic hotel on a small beautiful island. beautiful scenery and great staff. Ganesh our GEM (guest experience manager) was incredibly helpful and made our stay perfect. Would highly recommend staying here and you will not be disappointed at all.

The entire time we were at Six Sense Yao Noi felt like a dream. This property is truly special. I was admittedly a bit unsure what to expect based on some of the negative reviews here, but I was delighted to find what is certainly the most unique hotel I've ever stayed in. We took a transfer from Phuket Airport, which worked seamlessly. It was very windy the day of our arrival so the boat trip was a definitely a bit white-knuckle for us. Once we arrived, we were greeted by one of the management team and our GEM, Miguel. Miguel was so wonderful throughout our stay. He ensured we were well taken care of. We were given a tour of the property on arrival and we quickly saw how special it is. Nestled in the hillside of Yao Noi, you're essentially a part of the jungle. Yao Noi, while close to Phuket geographically, is a world away. It was so peaceful. The property is very hilly and quite large, but they have golf carts available all the time to bring you to where you need to go. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes for one. We stayed in an Oceanview Panorama Villa (villa 41) - and I won't ever forget walking down the steps for the first time onto the patio area and taking in the uninterrupted, 180 degree view of Phang Nga Bay and its magnificent karsts. We spent our whole 3 days on our villa patio enjoying the view, and in particular, watching the sun rise each morning was really special. The villa itself was spacious and clearly designed to make you feel at one with nature. Think of it as a luxury treehouse. And yes, there are sometimes critters inside with you - we just had some flies and a little lizard on the ceiling. It's all part of the experience. We were prepared for mosquitoes with Deep Woods OFF in tow - while we certainly got bitten, I was definitely expecting them to be a lot worse. My only constructive comment on the villa itself was the very light water pressure in the shower. I do understand the need to be eco-friendly especially at a place like this, but it was certainly underwhelming. The food was outstanding at all three restaurants. We ate at Nithan twice, had lunch at the Hilltop and ate several times at the Living Room. Food is creative and very tasty. We also were regular patrons of the ice-cream shop! Lastly - what really takes this place over the top is the staff. They are a remarkable group of people. While we found staff all over Thailand to be exceptionally friendly, the team at SS Yao Noi really are a cut above. Everyone was so kind, and they very clearly try as hard as they can to make a memorable experience for you. The staff in the Living Room memorized our coffee and breakfast orders after just one day. I had forgotten what I had and they reminded me - just little things like this. It makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. To the entire team at SS Yao Noi - thank you so much for an incredible stay!! We hope to be back one day.

Everything about this property is exemplary. The staff were so kind and helpful, we loved the primitive but low-key tech friendly villa, the food was excellent and day tours to the Phi Phi Islands and diving, snorkeling etc were breathtaking. I have been blessed to stay in 5 star resorts in Australia, the Caribbean Hawaii etc and would rank this the best. Of course we will be back soon!
