Lovely 3 Bedroom Colonial home

It appeared to have been recently renovated and was clean inside.

Stayed here the last week of April. First off, there’s a reason why all the pictures featured are of the inside only. As you can see from my attached picture, the outside does not match the inside & more importantly it’s in a questionable neighborhood. My wife never felt safe until we checked out and into a local hotel. Besides the area, my biggest complaint (and warning to others) is the hot water in this 3 bedroom 2 bath house is minimal. Only 2 people will be able to shower consecutively before the water turns stone cold! After complaining with no immediate solution, I did some investigating & found the 50 gallon water heater in the closet under the stairwell! FYI an average home such as this has a minimum 80-100 gallon tank. Had this been a one bedroom rental I wouldn’t complain but someone renting this size home more than likely have at least four possibly six people staying. This arrangement is great if guests don’t shower regularly but for the general population it’s unacceptable. Also, the shower in the second bathroom is the size of a refrigerator box! As you can imagine this is not ideal for a large statured person or a shorter person as the shower spray hits the wall then splashes in your face! With the limited hot water, trying to frantically shower before water turned cold made this a truly dreaded task! Also, beware of the nonworking floor heater downstairs. It has no cover and there's exposed sharp metal that could cause injuries if you accidentally come in contact with it. Lastly, a smoke alarm went off randomly on the last morning before checkout. Everyone woke in a panic trying to find the source only to discover the alarm unit detached & laying on the closet floor of the 3rd bedroom! Obviously, a previous guest had had an issue with it and did what any reasonable person would do: hide it rather than destroy it & get charged a fee! So now you’ve been warned.

Big American fridge, 2 x car driveway, showers were hot and high pressured, heating and all facilities were great. 6 of us stayed here and it fit us all perfectly.

It was alot more comfortable than a hotel and was the same price.

We liked the close proximity to the golf course and yummy restaurants (we recommend Celtic Cavern and Red Fox). The interior of the property was clean and nicely remodeled.

Although the unit was clean, the products used were quite harsh/strong smelling. We were unable to open the sliding glass door to hair out the unit because there was no screen door. We came home from dinner to a flooded master bedroom due to the AC unit malfunctioning. The owners were very responsive, however because we were not able to run the AC, we were also unable to drown out the noise coming from the parking lot with people coming/going to the neighboring properties, and the trash removal who arrived 5:15am. We didn't sleep much. With the water from the AC being absorbed by the laminate flooring, and from the allergy flare up I experienced, I suspect there is mold underneath the flooring in the master. The owners refunded us $100 when we decided not to stay the 3rd night based on these circumstances.

The kitchen was great and well stocked with coffee pods and spices for cooking. We enjoyed having two bathrooms and the quiet neighborhood, full laundry and detergent pods.

There is no outdoor space. the back deck has no furniture and the wood hasn't been cared for in a long time.
