Millport Beach Apartment, Crichton St, sea views

Perfect location, amazing view, really well appointed flat that was cosy, comfortable and homely. The beds were particularly comfortable as was the recliner sofa. The wifi worked well. Julie was an amazing host with superb communication throughout. Bottle of prosecco on arrival was a lovely and welcome surprise.

Location is amazing - I could sit at that window all day. Flat is spacious so there was room for everyone to do what they wanted. Double bed was extremely comfortable.

I wasn't there long enough to figure out hot water for a bath. And cups/mugs were a little high up for a 5 foot woman to reach, fortunately I managed with help from 6 foot son.

Woken up both mornings at 7.45 by machinery outside. Need to shave bottom off twin bedroom door as virtually impossible to open

A great flat in a beautiful town, this is the perfect base for exploring Millport. Julie was super helpful and friendly. The flat is quiet, nice and spacious, with lovely views out across the Firth of Clyde. It accommodated four of us with no issue, doing self-catering most of the time. The kitchen is good, the bedrooms comfy and clean, and the bathroom good as well. It's 2mins from a chippy and corner-shop, a nice bit of beach just around the corner. Great Cumbrae is a magical place - from secret coves full of shells, to the Cathedral of the Isles, to fun cycling and walking - couldn't recommend it more!

The flat could do with a bit of TLC in some places, nothing major at all, but a bit of sprucing up. There was some bubbly on arrival - but we would have preferred some of the more local empire biscuits :D (you can get those from Garrison House - recommended!)
