It was a lovely well thought out home away from home !! We were met by Gennaro’s daughter and able to check in early. Great view, aircon and bed was comfy, even had spare pillows. Room was nice and dark with roll down shutters. Tv that we didn’t turn on and kitchen was stocked with treats juice and water. The wardrobe had plenty of room, and even though it was a high rail there was a little tool to help reach. Even had salt and pepper and olive oil. Gennaro was always available even when we accidentally locked ourselves out, he came through via WhatsApp and opened the door for us from wherever he was. There is also a people mover that runs up and down to the main square that costs €1 however we slugged our way up the hill.

I did some washing as we are travelling for 5 months and tried to dry it inside the bathroom on the clothes line in the shower, alas it just would not dry. I rigged up my extendable clothesline in the courtyard out of the walkway. However it is now known to me this is not suitable and once I was made aware I removed it, and took it back inside. Perhaps a note on the information sheet might help others to not do the same mistake. 1 small tea towel for 6 nights was not really enough.

Wonderful place in Amalfi! The apartment is very stylish and cozy and you will find absolutely everything you need there including a full kitchen set and a coffee machine! The area is very convenient to get to the town but also to go hiking and it's super quiet! Wonderful place and beautiful interior!
