The Big Blue Condo

Gorgeous view and just the right amenities for us (small kitchen with enough things for basic cooking, a nice bathroom/shower set up for a couple, and an outdoor shower as well). Amazing terrace (you can see bubble beach) that we sat out on every evening! Super easy (note that it’s a bit steep, but you did go to Dominica) walk to the waterfront!

Do not use Google Maps to get there, it will be confusing. Follow the directions they send you, take advice and ask questions if you need to!

Beautiful place with great amenities- one of not many places in town with AC (which worked great). Outdoor shower is great for cleaning up after beach time, and easy walking access to fantastic snorkeling, the dive shop, etc. Fully stocked kitchenette allows you to really save on meals (recc buying groceries in Roseau before heading down). Sheets and towels were clean and soft and there are even beach towels which came in handy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Cara is communicative and welcoming and so sweet! We told her we were on her honeymoon and she decorated the patio with balloons and gave us a bottle of wine :) (of note she also set up the condo with US style outlets). We failed to download all her instructions (with pictures) before we lost service— make sure you get those because there is a tricky intersection the first time you enter town.

Very comfortable with great views and less than a 10 minute walk to the dive shop. Also glad to have air conditioning in the bedroom.

The stairs leading up to the property are very steep. This was difficult with luggage, but not a problem after that.

Super appart conforme à la description avec vue magnifique sur Soufrière! On a adoré notre séjour ici. Ventilateur, essuis de plage, shampoing dans la douche,… tout était top!!

Very big and bright appartment, fully equiped kitchen. Very clean. The view from thr terrace or the appartment is just perfect, on a Soufrierre bubbles bay. Sunset with sun falling into the sea is amazing. There are also beach towels, great idea.

Finding it for the first time might be a bit tricky, and nobody in village knows where it is. So ask for exact instructions.

The view of the sea from all areas in the condo. The cleanliness and spaciousness. The couches and bed were very comfortable, it was fun eating meals on the indoor patio, but we could have eaten on the outdoor patio. We felt like royalty.

The 50 steep steps from the parking space to the condo. Finally we organized our time to keep it to going only up once a day, but it was still HARD. We weren't fond of the jacuzzi tub, would rather have had a shower. There was no sign alerting us where to turn from the main street or the secondary street and we were lost for a long time trying to find the condo in the dark. Unfortunately my phone had lost power so I couldn't call for help (my bad). It would have been nice to have hot water in the kitchen (which I think is uncommon) to wash dishes; but maybe some beach towels could be provided? We thought we would buy some, but none were to be found in town!

Great view, loads of space, 5 minute walk into town. Decent kitchenette. Air conditioning!

Separate shower to the bath would be a plus.

The views were spectacular..It is high above most other homes, and the hosts were super friendly and the appt was spotless.

We did get lost for a few minutes, but there was really nothing not to like.

The condo has a spectacular view isolated and perched on a hillside overlooking the sea and village. The location shields you from any loud town nightlife or auto noises. The condo and porch has great air conditioning and new windows with screens if you prefer to close up the normally open air porch and bedroom. The entire condo was very clean with kitchen and large bathroom. We spent 3 days, enjoyed walking everywhere including Scott’s Head, kayaking from the Out Door center, snorkeling all the reefs, swimming in the sea and hot springs, eating local fresh seafood, and have already decided to return again someday.
