El Conde De Atrini

My sister and I booked the Deluxe Quadruple Room and our stay was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Colonial Zone but not in a busy street meaning it is quiet at night. Everything you could want is within 10 minutes walk. There is a well equipped bathroom with towels and a kitchen with a water tank. I adored the balcony and views from the rooftop. David & Elemis are wonderful hosts who will do everything to make your stay comfortable. They answered all my questions, even unrelated to our stay and were very prompt communicators.

More toilet paper please ;) Don't leave crumbs or ants will come! To be clear this is a hostel-hotel hybrid so the rooms and bathrooms are private like hotel but the kitchen and balcony is shared with the other guests on the floor (3 rooms total). It was not a problem since we had the whole floor to ourselves for 90% of our stay, except another guest coming in around 3am on our last night which the main door to the floor is creaky.

David and Elemis are great hosts. The have a lot of great deals on excusions. (Much cheaper than the rest). The place was the cleanest and most comfortable we found in Santo Domingo. The location was central and safe, walking distance to restaurants and attractions.

El Conde de Atrini is a perfect place to stay in Santo Domingo. The location is great, right in the middle of Zona Colonial. David and Elemis were excellent hosts, very friendly and attentive. Stay here!
