the bathroom is not inside the room

Accommodation only, with tea & coffee making facilities in a first floor flat with the bedroom/bathroom area available to use. Clearly well maintained and looked after, and we suspect frequently owner occupied, as much surface area had knickknacks Strange system of lockable bedroom door but not the exterior door to the flat. Bed comfortable, but limited storage space - not a problem as we were only there for one night and did not unpack. Very close to popular restaurant area and co-op food store close by.

Given entry code to get into the building, but despite saying we had arrived, no-one opened up for us for 30 minutes - some confusion as older relative thought we'd be waiting outside, despite my saying we had taken our luggage up to the flat. Absolutely no phone signal from the internal corridors of the block (fine in flat itself).

We only had one issue, the property was difficult to locate, as it's in a very large building. However, once settled in, we were very happy. A very quiet, comfortable room in an ideal location.

Clearer directions would be advantageous.
