Situated in Vračar, close to Slavija square and the cafes/restaurants as well as the city transports, this small ground floor apartment is very handy for short stay and exploring Belgrade. It is very clean, with the small but very functional bathroom (with a bunch of towels and toiletries) and kitchen with all necessary utensils (even washing/drying machine). There are also two TV sets (in the kitchen and in the room) and air conditioner (with cooling & heating options). Good communication with the owner when checking in and out.

Everything was correct.

Igor is great, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating -- we hit a snafu with Booking's re-booking options and he was very flexible; he even offered to give us a ride to the apartment; he left us water and juice in the fridge to refresh ourselves; and he gave us an extra set of keys given that we stayed over a month. The neighborhood is great and within a 30 minute walk to the heart of downtown (although of course this is all the broader Belgrade downtown area, close to many, many excellent bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as a farmers market and a swimming pool). All the appliances in the apartment are brand new and work great. The apartment is on the smaller side, I guess, if you need space, but kitchen and living room/bedroom is all we needed (you can also close the door between the two). The TV has a gazillion channels; wifi is fast. I think the windows must be enhanced with "noise cancelation" because we couldn't hear much when they were closed -- but also, this is a very quiet side street off a busy street where you can catch public transportation.

The big problem for us, mentioned in another review, was lingering cigarette smell. Igor explained that he allows smoking in the apartment (you'll notice a few ashtrays around), and no matter how much we tried to air out the place and use various odor neutralizers, the smell was inside all the furniture and all my clothes now vaguely smell of cigarettes. I told Igor that the apartment is listed as a non-smoking property on Booking, and he said he would change this. The apartment is a ground floor property which is convenient as you don't need to climb stairs, but also not great for privacy if you want to open windows for fresh air. While the apartment is fairly well equipped, there are small -- and cheap! -- updates that we suggest that Igor undertake to make it super comfortable, especially for a longer stay: putting a full length mirror on the wall; installing some wall shelves and clothes hooks; providing a larger trash can; having some more utensils (e.g. a ladle, can opener, and such); newer bedsheets; and providing more clothes hangers. Oh, and a foldable drying rack! (Since the dryer -- it's a washer/dryer unit -- doesn't fully dry clothes on many cycles, and also some clothes can't go in the dryer.)

The location is perfect, everything is really close to the apartment: money exchange, shop, bakery, cafe, attractions

The apartment is well equipped. The bathroom is functional with a nice shower cabin. The kitchen is spacious. A washing machine is always an added advantage. The host is kind and the communication with him was excellent. The location of the apartment is good in one of the most beautiful parts of Belgrade.

Everything was great, the location was perfect for getting around the city, the host was diligent and responsible.

The small of cigarettes was too tough, I don’t smoke and it was hard for me. Apartments are on the first floor, and if I tried to open the window to fresh room from the cigarette smell I received the new portion of it from people walking and smoking near to apartment))
