Bed is comfortable. The location is good but this room opens directly onto the street providing little privacy. Thin curtains do not darken the room from passing vehicle lights, 6 nights out of 7 of garbage collection and frequent early morning street sweeper flashy lights. Parking is 1 KM away so suggest arrangements for taxi on arrival unless backpacking. Parking costs 15 EU nightly or free if you can find and want to risk street parking off the Island of Ortigia. We needed to air the room out on arrival and daily as it was musty. Hosts offer one set of linens for a 2 week stay with the option to pay 30 EU fee for extra linen or directions to the laundry mat.

The seating is not comfortable. You have a single bed as a couch. Can't get comfortable. Not well suited for a longer stay.

Great studio apartment well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. Perfect location for exploring Ortigia and Syracuse, one minute walk to the Duomo and many restaurants. 5 minutes to the sea. Street food tour with Eat Better guide - Iryna was excellent and a great way to discover authentic Sicilian food, highly recommended. There is also a very good Chinese restaurant 6 minutes away - portions are small and reasonably priced so you can order a great variety of dishes.

Some information about where to leave rubbish outside of designated pick up days - location of bins/recycling points would be useful.

Es ist ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment (genau wie auf den Fotos) und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt braucht. Es liegt im Herzen von Ortigia, umgeben von Restaurants und Shops und allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Check in ist flexibel und ganz einfach. Vom Shuttle Bus Stopp (Flughafen-Syrakus) bis zur Unterkunft ist es ein wunderschöner 20 minütiger Spaziergang. Loris ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation verlief super. Herzlichen Dank für alles.

Siamo stati bene, è arredato con cura e in ottima posizione. Comodo poterci arrivare in auto almeno per lasciare i bagagli.

Un po’ di odore di umidità, ma c’è da aspettarselo negli edifici antichi di Ortigia. Essendo proprio sulla strada quasi tutte le mattine all’alba ci ha svegliato il camion dell’ immondizia che svuotava le bottiglie di vetro.

Great location. Close to everything. Clean, cute and comfortable bed. Just enough space for 2. Fine for our purposes.

Bathroom needs some love but it was clean.
