Mountain Bliss Guesthouse 2 next to Sougia

Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to family bereavement but the apartment was lovely. Lots of amenities. Good restaurant down the road and lovely shop a bit further on. The owners were very friendly.

- No water on first day due to a problem in the towns water supply. The host did not refill the private tank or even inform us such that we could have at least showered beforehand or bring additional water with us - No barbecue. Apparently it was broken by the previous guests. Again the host did not inform us, which would have avoided us buying all the supplies for the barbecue - The apartment is on top of a chicken barn which leads to a very pungent smell outside - From the pictures it might seem that the accommodation is secluded with its own private yard, but in reality it’s part of a apartment complex in the middle of the town, with neighbours on both sides - If you have a light sleep you might wake up early in the morning since the blinds are not fully blocking the light - The town itself is less scenic and more rundown compared to other towns nearby, with trash on the streets - Overall, too expensive for what it offers

Close to the sea and close to the mountains. The house is clean and beautifully furnished, everything is there for a carefree holiday. The kitchen tools are complete and as good as new. The village itself is quiet and very quiet in the evening. It still has the charm of a Greek mountain village. The perfect location for a successful holiday.

Perfect location to enjoy the weather of Crete, close to beaches and mountains, feet hiking nearby. The apartment is really cosy and beautifully decorated and furnished, amazing views of the mountains and really tranquil.
