The Dairy - Seaside Couples Escape in Whitstable

Easy check in, clean room, comfortable bed

After some useful and welcome directions from my amiable host to find my stay it was nice to find the room warm and cozy. It was well appointed and real coffee was great in the morning.

Might lack privacy if you stay as a couple when there are guests staying in the other chalet

Excellent location, cosy, private.

The only problem was very small- the thermostat on the heater must have been set quite low as it switched itself off very quickly.

Liked the location and the host was lovely. Very good stay and would recomend.

The property needed airing before arrival.

Shower was excellent, plenty of hot water and the bathroom was always lovely and warm for an October break! Good location for the harbour.

Bed mattress was within a padded bed frame and wasn't particularly comfortable. Would suggest a larger mattress without a padded bed frame. Tall people might struggle! The windows were all frosted so no view out and anyone staying in the adjacent Milk Shed had to closely walk right past the Dairy windows which is presumably why they were completely frosted. A small microwave would be helpful. When we arrived there was NO FREE PARKING available in any of the side streets so had to park in the closest car park which cost us over £10 for 2.5hours. This should be pointed out so that those arriving at a weekend can arrive later after the day trippers have left and released the on-street free parking areas.

Tolle Lage zum Hinterhof, also wunderbar ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral zur Stadtmitte und auch zum Hafen und zum Strand. Sehr private kleine Unterkunft, ein richtiges hide away. Cool für ein romantisches Wochenende.
