"Very poor"

2.0

The picture on the site showed 2 different tents of a good size with a proper a frame cover over them. What I got was a tiny little tent with nothing but a fly over it and zero awning to keep rain away. I complained and they said they could not change pic on this site. I left after one day and told them I wanted a refund. Booking.com doesnt allow it. I ended up paying more for a crappy tent half an hour away from town than I did shareing a room right in town. I would not stay there and ended up out of pocket for the other 2 nights. Not satisfied at all.Photos show the crap tent I got and 2 screen shots from booking site. Grrr...

The beach access is absolutely stunning. The food in the restaurant was good and the beer was cold.

They really need to highlight the access issues that the camp-site has. Our driver could only drop us at the front gate because the road in was too treacherous. It was also raining torrentially. We had to struggle with bags for 750m down a mud track that was really dangerous. It would also be great if they made the restaurant non-smoking. It was quite off-putting when tables full of people sat around chain smoking while you're trying to eat. I can see that they're building some new facilities but since they've installed new tents, there's not enough room for people to sit apart from inside the tents. This could work for a backpacker, but definitely wouldn't recommend for a family.

"Little hidden paradise"

10.0

The staff is very friendly, very helpful, the location is amazing, stunning view, very quiet, great for kayaking, everything was clean, the food was good and not as expensive as in el nido town, I stayed in a tent which was much more comfortable than I thought (:

Way down to the camp is tricky but I liked walking down and up, the view is amazing!

"Disappointing"

4.0

We arrived but didn't end up staying as it wasn't our thing, the huts looked cute and the toilets were clean. The driver who collected us from the airport was lovely and friendly. Forgot his name but he had a little red car. The view of the bay is lovely, the water looked nice further out but not at the shore. The beach is pretty wirh lots of palm trees Guests can have unlimited water/tea and coffee.

The road down to the camp is practailly a 90 degree incline which has to be done on foot They will take your bags/cases down on a scooter. Same as going back up 90 degree incline in the scorching heat. There is a 4x4 sitting there so not sure why this can't be used for guests, I did ask the manager but he said no lol ok. Nice views coming down though. When we arrived we barely got a hello from the manager and NO WELCOME DRINK and he didn't tell us when our hut was going to be ready lol. I know it's a budget camp but manners cost nothing and after a 30 hour journey starting in the UK, this was the minimum I would expect! We were the only guests that day as the party before were leaving when we arrived at 7.30am. We had to stay on the camp until we could check into our new accommodation elsewhere. There are only hammocks to chill in on the beach and no loungers. I asked if we could lay down in our huts as we were so exhausted, and we had already paid for the huts but we were told they weren't ready, however we watched him clean them out? Weird, like I said, no one else was staying there and there was only us and some staff on site. We managed to lay down on some hard benches under a large canopy hut thing then laid in the hammocks until it was time to leave thankfully Also, be aware there are lots of ants and sandflies and a swarm of these huge massive black bees, ok it is the jungle but I couldn't do it. I don't get all the amazing reviews, I guess people like what they like. They could make this place so much better by getting some beach chairs, loungers and umbrellas and an area where guests can chill in comfort on beanbags. Everywhere is hard wooden benches and uncomfortable. I wish people would leave more detailed reviews like this one so others can make informed decisions. You're welcome 😊

It's a serene place, far away from crowds. The view is stunning. You can chill all day in the hamack by the sea or rent a kayak and explore the area. We spent there two days to rest from adventures and it was best place to do so. Additionally, whole place is very well maintained, the lights on the trees and plants add a lot to this place. If you don't mind sleeping in a tent - it's a top choice.

"Beautiful beach camp"

Superb location right on the beach. It’s lovely to hear the waves as you drift off to sleep! Stunning sunset too!

Be prepared for insects especially mosquitoes and be aware that there is little room for luggage as the bed occupies your whole bedroom/cabin/tent
