It is a themed two bed room house with a lovely rooftop under the windmill of the house. Don Quixote decor everywhere. Fun looking for kids. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom has good water temperature and pressure. There's a laundry machine with soap if need. Perfectly located in this tiny town as it less than 5 min from the main square and overlooks the church. Great for a night stopover between Madrid and Cordoba

Windows are a bit small (it's an old windmill, so can't do much about that). Everything else was great.

I have been travelling a lot but I have hardly seen and stayed in a more beautiful, cosy, traditional and unique place than in Dario's windmill: exeptional attention to detail, spotlessly clean, great equipment. DEFINITELY one of the highlights of our holidays and a reason to come back and explore the surroundings of Puerto Lápice. Check in and out was super easy and flexible. The hosts are a wonderful couple and easy to contact.

We sadly could only stay 1 night.

This apartment is a dream come true ! It is chic, charming and comfortable and has absolutely everything that you need. The outside is amazingly pretty, depicting a Don Quijote scenario, windmill included. It has a well equipped kitchen. Two very good airconditioners are available. The bathroom is beautiful and practical. The terrace upstairs is the cherry on the cake. I wish we could actually live in this place. Don't think twice, book this place. We wanted to pack it up and take it home in a suitcase <3

Maybe a few sugar cubes and a few pegs, Otherwise this place is a dream !

Wonderfully quirky converted windmill. Lots of interesting Don Quixote knick-knacks. Great communication from Dario, the owner.

In the heavy rain storm we experienced a number of roof leaks, the prime one being in the bathroom. Dario kindly came round in the morning so we could show him.
