Pension "Dorfkrug"

just few km away from Winterberg you will find this hidden gem pension in Zuchen owned by a family, on the hill overlooking beautiful church. It is just 3min ride from Zuchen ski resourt with small slope and lift for kids, playground and a restaurant, perfect if you are travelling with little ones and are looking for a more quite and less crowded spot! Next to a generous breakfast we opted for dinner at the premises and were not disappointed, simple yet delicious home cooking saves you time and travel if you are too tired from a day of skiing.

Nice location, very clean

Very friendly hosts, beautiful location, great breakfast and we even had delicious home cooked dinner all nights. Very convenient and well taken care off stay. Definitely recommend it!

The pension is very charming, clean and well organized. We stayed at room #11, with a recently renovated shower which was very good and also a private balcony. The facilities were always clean and the breakfast had good options. The best part was the owners: extremely helpful and friendly! They made us feel very welcomed and were always available for questions and recommendations. Would definitely come back!

There are not many restaurant options nearby so you need to drive to Winterberg
