Host ignored 3 phone call, voicemail and text day before arrival
GBLots of space and the games room was a great addition. There was a nice welcome pack which proved useful too. Bedroom were really nice and spacious too. A big utility room was handy for cleaning dogs down after their walks
Quite a few fixtures were either broken or badly fitted ( dishwasher). We lost the use of one en-suite because of a leak that hadn’t been fixed from a previous stay (it was already mentioned in the guest book)

Kitchen equipment was slightly lacking, no teapot, no cafetière, no water jug. Only just enough cutlery for our party of 13, had to wash some even during meals. No serving spoons or wooden spoons. Need a few smaller glasses/cups for children.

Hot tub was out of use for the entirety of our stay and upon arrival there were no games, internet didn't work and the darts and pool cues were all broken. Extremely disappointing as the entertainment offered was the main reason for choosing this accommodation. The house was also in need of general maintenance (1 oven didn't work, sanitary ware loose or broken). Floors also clearly not hoovered or mopped between guests, as our feet were filthy after walking around for a short period of time. As a party with crawling babies, this was perhaps more obvious to us. Also there were areas of the house that were being renovated and were not made safe, for example, a room on ground floor with a broken bean bag and the beans all over the floor and the lock to that room broken, so small children could easily enter. Unfortunately, the communication and customer service from the host were exceptionally poor, taking a very long time (entire days) to respond to issues or not responding at all. The lack of customer service left a sour taste as the shortcomings could have been forgiven with better communication.
