MTGreat location in Carrbridge, in a very quiet area by the forest
GBA lovely quiet place, very comfortable and well equipped lodges, close to Aviemore and the hills, and with fun bike trails on the doorstep. The duck pond is lovely, and there was lots of wildlife around, including a woodpecker! The on-site bike hire was a cherry on the cake. Local amenities include a pub, cafe, a petrol station and a shop (Spar)

Nothing we were happy with it all
GBBrilliant location just off the main street in Carrbridge, so very easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants etc. The setting is fabulous and Reuben is doing a good job of getting his parents to upgrade the facilities (๐). we were well entertained by the resident ducks and loved the wee lochan which the cabins are based around. The family have only recently taken this on and already have made a difference with loads more planned. Our cabin was comfortable and very clean, with all the equipment we needed for our stay. As we had access to the local woodland walks directly from the site there were quite a few days where we did not need to use the car to get out an about (of course there are many things we did want to do where it was used...) Also (as an e.g. of how good the family are) we got a call on the day of arrival to tell us about the chainsaw carving competition and that we could park onsite if we wanted to go (well worth a visit!)

GBThe location with the pond and the forest behind was amazing. It is very much adjacent to nature while also being near to the pub and village centre, the quietness at night. The kitchenette and lounge setup was great! Worked well for a group of friends staying for a few nights. Very good for the price!
