GBGBIt was perfect, quiet, beautiful and fresh air! It was really cosy and eco-friendly. The hosts were responsive and the lodge was very beautiful. Would definitely go there again. The farm was easy to find, there was parking available, animals nearby but lovely fields and gorgeous views.
Signal and Internet was glitchy but I wouldn't count it as a negative cause gave us a good reason to stay off phones.
GBSensitively positioned cabins, beautiful and thoughtful landscaping. These huts are not just plonked in a field. Very clean and well equipped inside with lovely outdoor seating area too. Ideal base for exploring by car or on foot. And on a proper farm.
Bring ear plugs as the very handsome cows can get chatty early in the morning.
GBFabulous peaceful break near the fascinating Wallington Hall, Ponteland, Hexham, Hadrian's wall etc. Cabin was spotlessly clean, really comfortable. One of my dogs is disabled and the gated deck allowed him to sit and watch the world very happily. Worked well and we will definitely be back!
