AG Central Residence, Old City Split

The property was very close to the Port and the main strip of restaurants in split. The owners were lovely and picked us up from the airport

The location was great and it was nice to have a washing machine with some powder which I assume had been left behind by previous guests.

Having to chase the host for the code to the lock box while waiting outside the property. We ended up having to ring to get this. The broken shutters in the bedroom- this meant no sleep from when the sun came up as the light was shining right through. The dirty bathroom, the dirty shower curtain, the shower caddy with left overs from the previous guest not cleared out. One sachet of coffee left for us (a couple).

Name of property not on door. Stairs dangerous for kids. Difficult to carry up suitcases. Not the most modern.

Fantastic apartment which is suitable for a couple, friends or family of 2, who don't mind sharing. Location is perfect, short walk to restaurants, shops and the harbour. You don't need a car if you plan to just stay in Split. Antonia was an excellent host. Was very quick to respond and accommodating with our needs.

I've been looking for an apartment with a good location for a really long time. I wanted to be in the middle of the beach and promenade and it was really perfect. Couldn't have been better :) We were provided with everything from pots, drinks, spices, hygiene products and much more - the hostess is very, very kind. It was so sweet because she had a bowl of water outside for the cats, which we kept refilling

I mean I literally liked everything. The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is the staircase - it wasn't so easy with suitcases but it was still doable. It wouldn't work with a wheelchair

During my two-week trip in Croatia, I encountered the most considerate and attentive host. In addition to the room being fully equipped, the host was incredibly meticulous. They provided a manual for the washing machine, laundry detergent, and even specific products for women. It gave me a real sense of being at home.

I suggest that the host add lighting and signage in the alley leading to the house, to make it easier for guests arriving at night to find the accommodation.
