Kachel fijn dat deze er al was. Erg koud bij aankomst. Buitenkant is erg mooi en modern. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Als je hier bent als het warm is, zou je genieten van mooie balkon bij je slaapkamer.

Douche was niet goed 3 dagen hier. Warm, koud water en soms geen waterdruk. Verder niet modern en nieuw, maar prima.

The house is a bit cold but Lucia is happy to provide a heather, which helps.

Apartment is in a nice quiet non-touristic area. There is a little shop close by for most of our needs. Bar close by. Great off road parking. There is a terace where you can sit in the evenings with a lovely view of the mountains and the village below. Our host is very caring and gave us lots of fruit and vegetables from her garden. The apartment was very clean. For those who like walking and hiking in the mountains it is in a good location. It does not have the most modern equipment, but everything you need is there allowing you to relax and unwind.

For us, the double bed was a little narrow for our liking. Note though, the single beds are great.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Lucia et son chien Linda. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et très propre. Lucia est d’une rare gentillesse, très attentionnée. Le petit bar en haut de la rue avec vue sur l’océan et tarifs imbattable et la boulangerie (idem)

Lucia was a wonderful hostess, making us feel immediately at home with her very warm welcome. She popped around each night with tasty food she had prepared during the day, and her dog Linda is very friendly. Sao Jorge is great if you would prefer a quieter, less touristy, more authentic destination. The facilities for the 4 of us were great, including the speedy Wi fi. Off street parking was also tops and greatly appreciated. We didn't sit on the verandah, but agreed it would have been a lovely place to enjoy a glass of something with nibbles at the end of the day.

1 roll of toilet paper per couple for 4 nights was inadequate. It would have been nice to have more condiments in the kitchen (salt, pepper and olive oil). But these small things were outweighed by Lucia's warmth and generosity.

Lucia und ihr Hund Linda waren sehr freundlich auch wenn sie nur portugisisch gesprochen hat. Hin und wieder bekam man eine Leckerei vorbeigebracht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Auf den Bildern erscheint sie jedoch heller.
