The house doesn't have Wi-Fi, which for me is essential in a vacation home. Everyone staying there needed Wi-Fi for video calls and to watch movies on Netflix. It's a basic service that wasn't clearly listed, and of course, it wasn't available. If that had been clear, we wouldn't have rented it. The comfort of the beds and mattresses was very poor, and there were cobwebs everywhere. The cleaning was superficial and left a lot to be desired.
NZCharming, slightly yesteryear, had everything we needed, very well supplied kitchen, spacious, outdoor living area, central. Insect Screens on doors and windows also good.
Beds were “ok”. Maybe investing in a queen for the master and moving the double into the single room.
NZLocation was perfect, home is a sun catcher and it was lovely sitting on the deck with a coffee.
Getting the keys was a huge drama, code and lock box placement hadn't been updated after being changed - not awesome. The shower hadn't been cleaned, had dirty marks through it. Glassware that was provided was dirty, had to be washed before being used. Property did not feel that it was value for money unfortunately.
