De locatie en het zwembad van Podere Le Volpaie zijn uitstekend.

De host niet gezien. De overhandiging van de sleutel leek op een speurtocht via berichtjes in whatsapp. De bedden van een van de slaapkamers waren erg kort en er hing een lampje bij de douchekop los met de bedrading bloot. Na melding werd dit meteen hersteld. Van de badkamer bij de master bedroom was de wasbak verstopt en bleef er dus lang een laag water in staan. Dit hebben we ook bij de host gemeld echter bij vertrek was dit nog steeds niet opgelost. Om warmwater uit de kraan te krijgen moest de ketel regelmatig een push krijgen.

Beautiful authentic tuscan apartment in a gorgeous location. Lovely swimming pool which our children adored. The apartment was well equipped with everything we might need and has a lovely balcony for watching the sunset. Ross the owner was excellent he gave very helpful instructions for how to access everything as well as nice attractions in the area. Would definitely be back.

The air conditioner in the main bedroom was a little temperamental - it would turn off during the night and the room would get quite warm again.

Sehr schöne, geräumige Wohnung mit großer, gut ausgestatteter Küche. Es gibt alles, was das Herz begehrt. Top Lage! Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich!

Es könnte etwas sauberer sein. Und wir waren etwas überrascht, dass es doch so viele Wohnungen (12 Stück!) auf dem Anwesen gibt. Das hatten wir nicht erwartet und führte dank sehr hoher Temperaturen am Pool an einigen Tagen zu größerem Andrang. Da hätten wir uns mehr Ruhe erhofft. Auch die Situation mit den Liegen am Pool (diese müssen jeden Tag abgeschlossen werden, weil jede Wohnung andere Liegen besitzt) fanden wir nicht ideal. Und wir hätten uns mehr Sonnenschirme/Schatten am Pool gewünscht.

Ruim, goed ingericht! Prima bedden. Alles is aanwezig. Leuk terrasje. Prachtig gelegen!

Was very clean and confortable. The facilitys were above and beyond( streaming, DVD, full kitchen, big fridge and fully Equiped)

The place was one of the most beatifull places we have ever stayed in. The views alone are woth it but we also got to stay in this historicaly acurate italian house which just aided to the charm.

The beds were a little bit smelly, but overall everything was wonderful.

Instructions and Personal input from Ross prior to leaving really gave us confidence before we arrived that the details had been considered. The location the house is in as an area is one of the most scenic sun Tuscany that we found and the house and grounds itself is everything you could dream of.

Lovely location, quiet with stunning views. Easy to find, excellent facilities and decoration. Useful information on the area and places to visit. Dedicated sun loungers (when we remembered to take the key...) Pool lovely. Visits to Volterra, San Gimignano and Montecatini val de Cecina all well worth the effort. Good supermarket (Coop) 20 minutes away.

The day the electricity was turned off leaving no power or water; frustrating but not the owner's fault. Water pressure in the taps was a bit low and the basins didn't drain well, but not a serious problem.
