Becky's Caravan at Marton Mere

Very homely. It was my children’s birthday treat and Becky had put up birthday banners and left sweets for them. They were thrilled, it really made them feel special.

The caravan was spacious and spotlessly clean. Location was good. - close to main attractions in Blackpool, Lytham etc. Communication from Becky was first class and there was milk and a few essentials left for us on arrival. Caravan was quite cold, but it's March and we'd been warned. Becky had arranged to have heaters put on in preparation of us arriving, and we dressed accordingly, so it was all fine.

It wasn't clear use of the swimming pool on site was bot included. Haven wanted nearly £80 to buy a pass for 2 days for 3 of us and even then said they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't be full (it was after 5 so too latedor reception to check). The caravan is right next to a road. It is meant to be limited to 5mph, but cars and delivery lorries were flying along quite fast at all hours. Could do with some traffic calming measures. The complex felt a bit moody on Saturday evening (5-6pm). There were 4 huge bouncers on the door and groups of drunken adults being very loud and acting agressively towards other guests and staff - however, the bouncers just stood by and watched. My (and evidently others') kids felt a bit scared/intimidated and this was meant to be a family area. So in summary, no problem at all with the caravan, but not overly impressed with Haven's management of the site or money-grabbing antics.

Paid £173.00 pound for club passes,only got to use pool once as it was all fully booked and maybe that was my fault for not booking slots earlier as it was school holiday,I do like the parks where you don't have to book swimming slots that's why we brought the passes as we don't like the night entertainment so it was expensive for one swim

It was cold had no central heating,electric tripped three times .

The caravan was beautifully clean and very well equipped. Getting in and settled was very easy. Becky's attention to detail is impeccable and we were very well catered for. Communication with Becky was great and very friendly. Lovely site and a great place to stay to enjoy Blackpool. I intend to book with my friends again and with my children. Thank you Becky, especially for going above and beyond when I was daft enough to leave something behind.

Beautiful cosy caravan, it was spotless and the owners communication was impeccable! We arrived to milk in the fridge and some sweets for the children (that went down a treat) also games for the children in the caravan which was perfect for our 4 year old. Shop on site, along with places to eat or take out from! We shall definitely be booking again with this wonderful host!

It was a home away from home. It had literally everything needed to settle in. I would pack lighter next time.
