"Lovely property, living/dining/kitchen very bright and airy and a nice seating area outside"

8.0

Easy walk into town with plenty of places to eat . Close to Chatsworth, Dove Dale and it was well dressing week

Parking was good but exiting out to the main road was tricky because of the line of sight - someone had to go to the main road to direct us.

"Lovely central location, near lots of amenities and really nice accommodation."

7.0

The location was great, near the town centre. The bedrooms all had en-suites and everybody commented on how good the showers were. Beds were comfortable and the available towels was useful. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture too. Parking for 2 vehicles was okay

One of our dogs is elderly and couldn’t manage all those stairs, I had no idea there were there and probably wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. My husband had to carry her up the stairs for 3 days. The floors looked dirty and needed a clean, which we were happy to do but the only mop we found was not at it’a best and there was no wringer in the bucket either. Maybe leaving some disinfectant spray would be useful. We couldn’t leave the place in a clean state as we couldn’t find a vacuum either, which left us feeling bad as we had 2 dogs.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Ideal location in the town, but quiet, with parking. Well equipped spacious living area and very comfortable beds.

No issue for us at all but users need to know that house and access involves steps/stairs that some might find difficult

"Fab bright and comfy, upside down house, we really loved our stay"

9.0

Great location and wonderfully warm and bright living space. There was a cute little garden for coffee in the morning and an Easter Egg Hunt. Three bathrooms was a real bonus and free parking at the property a real bonus in Bakewell.

We loved the Brew House and will definitely be back. There were a few tiny maintenance things such as fan not working (in the en-suite with no window) but we just used the other en-suite shower which was a lovely and bright room with super hot and powerful shower. The dishwasher tablet cover wouldn’t stay down so we popped the tablet in the cutlery tray and were just grateful for the tablets provided. We couldn’t work out how to turn the radiator stats down in the kitchen but we were glad of the warmth in the morning and just opened the door for the breeze and evening sun which was lovely as led onto the enclosed back garden. There was nothing that would spoil your stay or you wouldn’t expect from rented property. Lots of fresh towels and tea/coffee/milk/biscuits on arrival. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home, cheese graters, bottle openers, large pans and dishes for family/friends meals but really close to nice pubs and restaurants if you fancy a break. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back soon.

"Bakewell is a lovely place for a short trip; lovely walks, food, and accommodation"

8.0

Lots of space, the lounge was light, bright and spacious.

Going in through the garage. I left my phone one early morning walk and the shutter door button didnt work several times, and noone heard me knocking. Fortunately, several times later it did work.

"Fabulous cottage in an excellent location"

9.0

Comfortable and well equipped property in an excellent location for Bakewell - a lovely social space for a group of people

Parking was a tad tight outside the property especially if you have large cars you would struggle to get it into the garage and the on street parking is pot luck to get a space

"Nice house right near the tiwn"

8.0

Lovely upside down house. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfy. Nice welcome touches, and essentials provided. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk into town. 3 bathrooms so really good little find.

The parking is very tight. A small car would be fine, but a 4x4 / crossover type will struggle (although it can be done!). Parking permit in the accomodation does provide residential parking in numerous locations in the town.

"Comfortable and warm"

10.0

This was a fantastic holiday home that exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate and really well presented. The kitchen had everything we required with 2 fridges, dishwasher etc. The bedrooms were spacious and really comfortable with quality bedding, having three bathrooms was excellent. There is a little patio outside that was lovely to sit when the sun was out. The location in Bakewell could not be better being within walking distance of the town. I would highly recommend this for a wonderful break in a beautiful area.

The parking was very tight and would only be suitable for a small call in the garage. The stairs are a little steep. Although good instructions were given we had a problem locating property, a road number would help.
