Casa La Laja

The location was good - the village was very cosy (a couple of food places around and ocean nearby). The apartament was very tidy and comfortable for a family to stay in. They had all the kitchen and bathroom facilities. The Wifi was also good. The host was friendly, easy to talk to and to communicate. Also very generous as they left some gifts for us - wine and fruits!

Spotless and comfortable, the apartment is well-equipped, and the host is nice and communicative. The location in the small village is ideal for a calm vacation. We appreciated the comfortable kitchen, nice walks, and bathing in the small natural ocean pool (Charco). We were a family of four, but the apartment is ideal for 2 or 3 people.

There was no window in the bedroom and no climatization, but the temperature was always comfortable. I have no complaints.

It was exactly as it was described on booking.

Location and neighborhood are fantastic, especially the vibe of the small town (picturesque buildings and no trash on the streets). Check in process and communication with property owner without any problem. Overall, comfy and cozy little flat, which did meet our expectations judging by the photos and description.

The accommodation is really close to the sea, a 5 minute walk to the next rock pool. However, there is no beach where you can really swim. Also, the sleeping room is separate and it was cool to have a couch in the living room. When we arrived, there were fruits and bakery ready for us which was really kind. The neighbors are really nice too.

It was mentioned that there is a terrace, however, it turned out that the terrace is a corridor in between the kitchen and the bathroom and the sleeping room with a plastic roof that lets in a little more light. There was not much fresh air coming in and no view at all. The whole apartment just had one window at the front near the entry which made us feel like living in a kind of garage. The water in the shower wasn’t always hot and there were some ants in the kitchen which disappeared and reappeared every day. None of this is a big drama, but just not how we expected the place to be from the photos. We never met the host, the whole check in process is pretty anonymous.
