La Maison de André

Daniella was a great host. And it was wonderful to arrive to a warm home after spending a day visiting under the rain. The house is great for a family of 4, it's comfortable and has everything it needs. Thanks Daniella for the welcome

Location was very close to the Dolo station making access to Venice very easy which was our main reason for booking. The owner, Daniela was very friendly, helpful and informative. There were a selection of good supermarkets within easy reach. The apartment on the whole was reasonably clean although there were some areas of maintenance that could be improved - (smashed kitchen drawer front, upstairs toilet door that didn't close, floppy fabric wardrobe, old bedding and pillows.) Having access to a washing machine was really handy after nearly 2 weeks travelling around. There were 2 air conditioning units one upstairs and one down which were good to have in a heat wave however they were so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak so they became quite an annoyance especially as the electric kept tripping out when we tried to use the microwave whilst they were on.

The house is situated right on top of a very busy and very very noisy main traffic junction. Road noise was all night long even with the windows closed we struggled to sleep with the noise. The house next door had 2 incredibly noisy and dogs who barked aggressively and constantly from early morning until late at night. Although reasonably equipped for very basic cooking there were no oven gloves in the kitchen!! The twin bedroom was very small and cramped, our two older daughters found it very uncomfortable and hot. Opening windows meant that the outside noise and the most awful fishy smell was so intense that they had to be shut again and unfortunately the air con units weren't moveable so they had no benefit from them. The twin bedroom had a small tent type wardrobe but it fell apart when we tried to use it and lent over towards the bed. The upstairs toilet door didn't close properly. Just lots of small points that all added up to a not so comfortable stay in all sadly.

The property is absolutely charming. Spacious and well equipped. Daniela is such a delight, had great recommendations and communication before our stay.

Property was excellent , good location , very clean and hospitality was very good as well . The Property is near 2 Supermarket , bowling/arcade outlet and good places to eat . It is also close to Mira-Mirano train station which will take you to Venice in as little as 25 mins . Definitely recommend .

Very nice house super comfortable for 4 guests. Parking, 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen and a friendly host. Very recommended!

pillows could be better

The host, Daniela, is very welcoming and friendly. The house is in a good location, a short drive to Venice, and in a nice overall peaceful and safe neighbourhood. The beds (mattresses) were comfortable, allowing for a good rest at night. The house is well equipped (kitchenware, appliances, etc).

Being by the road, it may become slightly noisy at night, but it's not too busy. We hear the neighbours almost as if they were in the house. We kept the windows closed most of the time, due to the noise from the road and the smell (maybe from some cats?) from the backyard.
