Private Room in Beautiful Mountain Home w/ Sauna

Nice and cozy home in a beautiful location. Hosts were amazing and helped us out a lot, probably the best hosts we had so far. Also the sauna was an amazing feature.

The hosts were incredibly attentive and helped me with everything I needed, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Access to all the services provided was incredibly easy, and everything worked perfectly. This has been the best accommodation I've experienced during my time in Europe

A beautiful place to stay in Beitostølen. It is a 30-minute drive from the Gjende ferry and the main hiking area of Jotunheimen National Park. Tonje is an excellent host who will provide you with a quick tour at the check-in. You will share common areas of the house like kitchen and living room with the hosts and other guests. There is a barrel sauna that you could fire up using the provided firewood. Electric vehicle drivers would certainly appreciate a destination charger at the premises.

The place to stay is a bit outside of town in a rural area. The neighborhood has a car gate. You need to have Internet or phone coverage to contact the host and get the gate to open. While each room has a private bathroom, you need to go through a common area hallway to reach it from your room.

It’s surrendered by nature Very peaceful Near all the beautiful mountains and hikes like Bessegen. The house is in the middle of nature. The bedroom was very comfortable. We had the best sleep (and we travelled to many other properties during almost 3 weeks). In the bathroom you have a bathtub that is just under a window so you can take a bath while looking at the stars. And there is a sauna, a typical one with fire, which is also a plus. The kitchen is quite big and there is everything you need to cook for 6 people or more. The hosts are so kind and knowledgeable about Norway and the Norwegian culture.

Nicely located, cosy place, great host! I wish I had the time to test out the beautiful sauna! We enjoyed our time there.
