Eye of Horus House

The location was perfect. A ton of restaurants and shops nearby. There is a market, bank, ATM and pharmacy next door. The best part was the staff that went above and beyond and always greeted me with a smile!

I absolutely like this Place It was 2 bedroom apartment, Very spacious, nice and clean. Owner was very helpful.

I traveled by train from Aswan to Luxor and the journey was smooth, it took three hours. The guesthouse is close to the train station. Eye of Horus House is nearby Luxor Temple, the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Museum. If you like walking, you can go along the banks of the Nile River, which is full of restaurants, and reach these places in no time. The size of the apartment is good for up to four people.

Eye of Horus House is in an area with a lot of car traffic and commerce, consequently, a lot of noise. The building doesn't have a number, you need to pay attention to the gate in the Booking photo. When you enter the building, don't be surprised to find a bed and a television so the night watchman can rest. I stayed in apartment 401, which has a kitchen that is just a bit old, with few utensils, an old refrigerator that barely closes the door, and no freezer. The toilet in the bathroom should be completely clean. There should be a curtain in the bathtub to prevent the entire bathroom from getting wet. Mohamed Abdel Hamid, the general manager, never asked me if everything was okay, if I needed anything, or even said goodbye to me; in my country, they say that kindness begets kindness. You have to make money, but you also have to provide comfort to your guests. I suggest they improve the kitchen and provide a minimum of cooking oil, salt, sugar, tea, and matches so that if we want to make a snack, we can do so without having to go buy a kilo of salt or sugar.

It was in the centre of everything and still in a calm area. Walking distance to all the sites and close to the bus station. The owner also has Eye of Horus Tours and organised all my tours including the airport transfer.
