Riu del Mar Hostel

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und ist uns bei einer spontanen Planänderung entgegen gekommen. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und ruhig.

Die Zimmer werden am Tag sehr warm, und diese Temperatur bringt man auch in der Nacht nur schwer runter, da es nur einen Ventilator hat. Da es viel Natur rundherum hat muss man beim lüften aufpassen, dass man keine Insekten oder andere Tiere ins Zimmer lässt.

So so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect for spending a few days with a clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Mel was very helpful and made us feel comfortable. Possibly the most peaceful accommodation we’ve stayed in for a while. The river was a really nice spot to swim in (careful of the urchins!) and we weren’t really bothered by mosquitos despite being next to the water.

The only things would be without a scooter/car you will need a tricycle to get everywhere and the rooms are hot during from 11am-3pm. Just a general note is that Panglao is far from most attractions so if you aren’t just wanting to do beach things maybe staying more north for some of your stay would be better

Super friendly and very accommodating staff, bathrooms, though common, are always kept clean as well as the surroundings. Amazing river View.

Todo perfecto, el lugar hermoso, las instalaciones muy bonitas y cuidadas, limpio y cómodo. La habitación super bien equipada, con espacio para tus cosas y privacidad. Amé este backpacker. Y me encantó poder usar el kayak y pasear. También es la primera vez que no me despierto con ruido de la carretera.

Das Hostel liegt irgendwie in der Mitte und nicht da wo die Strände sind, jedoch auch nicht da, wo die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind

Very quiet, secluded and the nicest people! Mel and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome and at home!
