This was our 2nd stay we love it Hoping to back for our 3rd stay x

Scenery, views, location and quietness

Where to start! The lodge itself is stunning, set up in the hills, high enough not to be able to not hear the hassle and bustle of the club house or any roads. Off road parking to the rear of the lodge and is a very quick walk to the front door, sounds like a little thing but when your carrying those bags full of your belongings, it's a god send. Open, modern and spacious living area. Beautifully decorated with ample seating around the TV (which I promise you won't need with the views). A large dining table, great for meal times with the family and a kitchen filled with all the tools needed to ensure a very convenient and comfortable stay. There's even a dish washer, which I won't lie, gave my heads a lovely break. Not just one but two bathrooms! The second is located just within the master bedroom and is a fantastic addition. Both with shower, toilet and hand basin facilities. Master bedroom is spacious with ample storage for your clothes with a walk in closet which is perfect. And again in the second bedroom with two single beds, perfect for our kids. And my favourite bit, the veranda. A beautiful place to sit, have your morning coffee or that afternoon wine while taking in the most beautiful views across the bay. A view I will never ever get board of seeing. I'm sure I've missed so much but it's genuinely a perfect place to stay, relax and unwind!

We had a lovely stay at Bay View Lodge, the location is great, hosts were great communicators and went the extra mile with thoughtful touches. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would recommend and would visit again!

The views along the coast especially exceptional. Local walks. Comfortable rooms & bed. Modern clean spacious accommodation. Excellent heating & shower. Especially liked the ensuite. Excellent kitchen with all modern appliances. Decking to sit outside. Welcome gifts, thank you.

Some simple printed basic instructions on using the heating system would have been useful, I worked it out by trial & error! Oven could have been cleaner & trays ideally need replacing, so used microwave instead. Some simple instructions for using microwave (other than manual) would have been useful. Disappointed with TV freeview set up as repeatedly had 'signal lost' & couldn't get many 'live' channels & so relied on catch up tv. Again needs simple printed basic instructions on how to use.

This place is just fabulous! The views were outstanding, because of the position of the lodge, and constantly changing. Be aware though that this high position means there is a steep walk, but with the car it wasn't a problem. We used it as a base for exploring but then found a beautiful nature reserve (Dyfi) just 15 minutes through Borth. Gorgeous beach and walks through sand dunes. The beds were so comfortable, everything was lovely and clean and it's very well equipped,. The decor is tasteful making the lodge cosy but not cluttered. A welcome present of Prosecco and Welsh cakes were awaiting our arrival. You are missing a treat if you don't book this place for a break.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Amazing lodge, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful views and lovely balcony that catches the evening sun. Swimming pool on site (extra charge) and small playground for the kids. Walking distance to the beach and close to aberystwith

Lovely accommodation with a fantastic view. Very comfortable, especially the bed - slept so well. Great showers and lovely to have the option of a nice deep bath too. All the crockery, utensils you could need along with a full oven, kettle, toaster, microwave & coffee maker. Nice, spacious decking with gorgeous views & good to be able to be able to let the dog out safely. Unfortunately it was very wet, windy & cold the week we were there so didn't really get chance to enjoy it. The views from inside were just as good though and the heating kept us nice and warm. Little welcome pack of prosecco & Welsh cakes on arrival which was very well received - thank you 😊. Dog bowls also available.

The only negative is the very steep hill up & down to the property. However, it's that that gives you the views. Just bare in mind & if you have any disabilities/walking issues you will need a car to get up & down - especially with shopping.
