The staff was nice & helpful, they were flexible about our check out time. The location is perfect, close to everything, the bar and the pool area are really nice and clean. We’d definitely stay here again.

It’s a bit inconvenient that the sink is not in the bathroom, but other than that everything was perfect.

The staff were incredibly friendly and polite throughout our stay. The pool was very clean and clear, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and fresh towels available. Breakfast was excellent, and the beach is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were very clean and serviced every other day. Overall, the highlight of our stay was definitely the warm and welcoming staff and the pool.

Handagedara Resort was the perfect blend of comfort and character. Our Family Room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The pool area was peaceful and surrounded by greenery—ideal for relaxing. We loved the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit and local tea. Friendly staff and a great location made it a truly memorable stay.

Swimming pool lovely. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast served until 9-30 but there was not much left by 9. Same selection everyday. Staff some days a little disinterested. Spa not as expected as massage room more like a cell than a spa!

Das Hotelzimmer war sehr geräumig und ordentlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls gut. Man läuft ca. 10 Minuten zum Strand wie auch ins Zentrum.

Das Hotelpersonal hätte ein weniger freundlicher sein können.

Restaurant staff were good. A part of the property close to the dining area and next to the road has a garden view / access. Owner is very involved and she did her best to take care of us- which we really appreciated.

While the property calls itself a resort, it looked more like a family run place. It lacked basic facilities like intercom, making communication tough. Reception staff wasn’t up to the mark and they are usually not available whenever you actually need them. Check-in took a lot of time. And even after the delay, we had to remind them to fill up the hand wash. The room given to us was on 2nd floor with stairs (and no lift). Would have appreciated if we were given this clarity before booking the place.

La amabilidad y gentileza del personal. La cercanía a las playas y el poder disfrutar de unos masajes excelentes. El Puerto para tomar el barco para el avistamiento de ballenas y delfines está al lado. Guardamos un gran recuerdo.
