Belle Vue Stylish Town Centre Apartment with Private Parking

Good location and very clean and the facilities were excellent

Honestly the only real issue was that the sofa was far too low and didn’t offer any real support. Otherwise the place was excellent

Edge of town centre so easy access to restaurants, shops, pubs.

The only thing I would comment on is that there wasn’t any mattress or pillow protectors on the bed.

Location very central. Convenient. Parking included. Broadband included. Linen included. Staff were good, allowing of flexibility on checking in out times. Maintenance issues dealt with professionally and promptly.

It’s an old building, nicely renovated but still has the old musty smell. Nothing unexpected from a Regency property

A fabulous clean spacious apartment with everything we needed for our stay. Great location for town centre shops, restaurants and bus service to station and racecourse. Excellent communication for arrival etc.

The apartment itself is beautifully designed and has great potential to be a wonderful place to stay if it were properly maintained and managed.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we entered the apartment, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of mold — even though nothing visible seemed damaged or damp. Opening the windows didn’t help at all, and the bedroom had no windows, so the smell there was especially bad. We discovered there were no towels, and the host only replied five hours later, by which time we had already gone out and bought our own. Later, we found out that there were no pillowcases either, and again, the host took hours to respond. The next morning, they sent a cleaner who told us he had informed the owners that the apartment wasn’t ready for guests. That means we had spent the night on unclean sheets and pillows we had to wrap in our own T-shirts. The sofa was also broken, with no legs underneath — it felt like sitting directly on the floor. The hosts were not honest and even asked us to prove with a receipt that we had purchased towels. Needless to say, we didn’t stay for another night. They canceled the booking only several days later, making it look as if we never arrived — which prevented us from posting this review earlier. It’s truly a shame because the apartment itself is beautifully designed and has great potential to be a wonderful place to stay if it were properly maintained and managed. Location was excellent to explore the Cotswolds. Car parking was excellent and we received timely and clear instructions to access secure car parking, entry into building and apartment.

Die Wohnung ist neu renoviert -bis auf die Fenster-. Alles gut ausgestattet und sauber. Große Küche mit allem, was man braucht. Der Check-In kontaktlos, völlig unkompliziert und komfortabel. Parkplatz sehr komfortabel mit E-Lade-Möglichkeit und durch Schranke gesichert, gut erreichbar. Wohnung geschmackvoll und funktionell eingerichtet. WLAN inklusive.

Leider gehen alle Fenster zu einer tagsüber stark befahrenen Kreuzung. Die Fenster sind original und schön, aber nicht geräuschhemmend. Nachts wird es ruhiger, so dass man gut schlafen konnte, aber tagsüber ist der Straßenlärm nervig. Ich hätte gerne einen Besen oder einen Staubsauger gehabt, um zwischendurch sauber zu machen. Kehrblech mit Handbesen vorhanden. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten sind ziemlich niedrig.
