Villa Nogueira V with Private Pool by Holiday Rental Madeira

The location is very good; having own parking was also great. The apartment is recently renovated and nicely decorated. It is spacious with very nice view. We also made a good use of the large terrace. There's also plenty of storage place, so all our suitcases and clothes could be out of sight. There's a sort of jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms, but we did not try it - we only used the shower from the other bathroom.

Warning for those travelling in hot months: there was no airco (we did not need any in Dec/Jan). Maybe, the host will arrange for it in due course. The bathrooms are not ventilated. The sliding doors to the terrace are difficult to handle, but this is hardly an issue for a temporary stay. The insulation is not great, so one can hear noise from the outside. Keep in mind that there is a music school across the apartment and the exercises of the pupils are not always pleasant to listen to.

We loved it. It was clean, spacious and had everything you need. We felt so at home ! We are definitely coming back!

Tikrai nuostabūs apartamentai! Be gali erdvūs, du dideli balkonai. Nakti, gana triukšminga, kadangi šalia pagrindinė gatvė, gana gerai girdisi eismas. Lokacija gera, tikrai viskas po ranka. Yra vieta automobiliui.

Minusas, jog nėra kondicionierių, kadangi apartamentuose tikrai labai karšta, tenka miegoti atsidarius langus, bet tada girdisi visas triukšmas…

Location and apartment was good

For the price the aircon should work it is installed but does not work . Apartment very hot and bedroom , the fans provided don’t help

Location was perfect for what we needed, Old Town nearby but not too close and so in the evening we enjoyed quiet time; SIXT rentals on the ground floor, supermarkets walking distance, restaurants the same.

As this is a private apartment, they do not have a reception or facilities a reception could offer, like baggage storage. Our flight arrived early and the agency was willing to help with early check in but when we left, we had to find a solution to store luggage elsewhere for 7h. What I have also missed are necessities like toilet paper (we only had 1/4 of a roll for 5 days), maybe they just forgot to supply the bathrooms with it. When we left, we were asked to leave keys on the table but the apartment is in a gated compound and the outside gate opens with the remote we had to leave inside. We waited more than 20 minutes for someone to drive in and open the door as we didn't have the remote to operate gate anymore. This needs to be thought through...
