Out of Focus

The decor, layout and the location was good. It was comfortable and compact and had everything we needed.

The location itself being on the edge of a busy main road. It could be noisy at night particularly if the windows were left open. The facia also rattled considerably in the wind.

This was a great little home-from-home for a few days. We had a lovely welcome pack with local goodies. The kitchen was well equipped. We didn't cook. We parked up and explored on foot and also explored the coast en route to/from In Focus. We saw and heard lots of wildlife walking to/from the beach. We popped across the road to Briarfields across for an amazing dinner and drinks.

The cottage wasn't very well soundproofed. We could clearly hear the music coming from the accommodation upstairs and could also hear them going up and down their stairs. They weren't being particularly noisy, we could just hear everything. Luckily it wasn't a problem for us this time but I'd be cautious about rebooking.

It is a very smart and clean property with great facilities. It was small but had everything we needed.
