La vista mare e la posizione rispetto al centro di Ortigia e le spiagge e la TV grande

Esterno fatiscente e per nulla simile all immagine di copertina dell appartamento che è stato il motivo per il quale avevo prenotato. Macerie sul famoso terazzo on the sea, e nessuna sdraio o tavolino ( sdraio promessa poi ma mai arrivata). Ci è stato detto che era causa del maltempo dei giorni precedenti ma non giustifica le sdraio rotte e arrugginite e comunque non sostituite negli 8 giorni di permanenza. La colazione inclusa una farsa. Trattasi di cestino con qualche confezione di fette biscottate sbriciolate e sei micro marmellatine da discount. Ovviamente non consumate, cialde per il caffè e confezione di tè aperte ma non acqua per prepararle ( richiesta e poi portata al terzo giorno). Quindi consiglio di togliere il benefit della " colazione inclusa" per non trarre in inganno il cliente. Nessun armadio o cassetto, quindi vestiti lasciati in valigia stropicciati ( avevamo un evento elegante ci siamo arrangiati appendendo nella doccia). Bidet inutilizzabile perché troppo attaccato alla parete a meno di non avere gambe da bambino). Difficile accedere al letto incastrato tra due pareti, certamente non adatto ad anziani o disabili. Impossibile utilizzare cuscini in aggiunta a quelli dati in dotazione sottilissimi, perché messi in un posto dall odore fortissimo di muffa. Divano sporco e in generale molta trascuratezza...

Ho prenotato questo alloggio per i miei genitori a Settembre e ne sono stati soddisfatti. La posizione dello stesso e la vista di cui gode erano davvero belle e suggestive. L'alloggio piccolo e accogliente. L'host mi hanno riferito essere molto gentile, tanto che lei ha aspettati di persona per accoglierli.

La pulizia e la colazione potrebbero migliorare.

Excellent location in terms of views of bay, getting the sun in the morning for breakfast, with a nice comfortable breeze of the sea. Also, access to sea for a swim only 50 yards away. Great access to the rest of the island. The host Angelo was excellent, helped me enormously when I had an issue with police over parking. Without his help, I don't know what I would have done. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. WiFi was excellent.

Parking on Ortigia is an issue.If arriving by car, make sure you have prearranged parking. Excellent valet parking available 20m from the apartment. Otherwise it is a little bit of a walk to nearest public parking. Police are very hot on issuing tickets and clamping illegally parked cars

Posizione

La posizione a 10 metri dal mare con un bel panorama e molto vicino al centro. Sicuramente silenzioso .

La cucina non ha l'essenziale per cucinare non c'erano insalatiera e centrifuga , solo 2 bicchieri 2 piatti 2 tazzine 1 pentola. Non c'era un armadio o cassettiera , abbiamo lasciato il vestiario nelle valige e sparso sul divano . Ci sono dei ripiani attaccato al letto ma inilutilizzabile per posizioni e dimensioni. I muri dopo il 4 giorno hanno cominciato a scrostarsi . Non c'e uno stendino, non c'è una scopa e per lavare per terra e per pulire il bagno. Non c'è il cambio lenzuola o asciugamano o proposto un servizio che normalmente viene proposto ad ortigia . L'ambiente all'arrivo era estremamente umido dopo 4 giorni di condizionatore ed aprendo le finestre ha cambiato odore . La terrazza tenuta molto male.

This property and host provided one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. It was unsafe, unsanitary, and grossly misrepresented, and the host’s behavior was aggressive, negligent, and illegal. • The apartment suffered constant electrical blackouts. We had to reset the fuse box over 30 times, which was located outside the property. The host gave no assistance and messaged us that he “does not give a damn.” We have this in writing. • Pillows were stained, including one with what appeared to be dried blood, and the towels had brown/yellow marks. The host dismissed this as “cosmetic” and said replacements would be brought — but he never turned up. • We had scheduled a 9am meeting, which he failed to attend without explanation. • The listing falsely claims there is a terrace, but it’s just a public alleyway with no privacy. • The property is located next to a collapsed building, posing a serious and undisclosed safety risk. • The bathroom door was broken, tiles were cracked, and furniture was already damaged. • The host blamed us for the power outages, though we were only using a light and the air conditioning. • He never verified our identification, which is a clear violation of Italian hospitality laws. This is not only unprofessional — it’s illegal. • Most disturbingly, the host threatened to come to the property with the police to intimidate us after we raised our concerns. • He also tried to blackmail us into silence, saying he would only issue a full refund if we did not leave a negative review. We were forced to vacate early and book new accommodation at our own cost. The host’s dishonesty, aggression, and disregard for guest safety and legal obligations made this a truly awful experience. Do not book this property. It is unfit for guests, and the host should be removed from the platform. We strongly urge Booking.com to investigate this listing immediately.

La terrasse ne correspond pas , sale,mobilier extérieur rouillé, cassé,impossible de s asseoir. Il n’y avait pas de table extérieur, comme sur la photo.il fallait sortir la table de la cuisine et chaises.Intérieur pas propre , serviettes de bain tachées, le compteur électrique faisait que de disjoncter, hier pas de climatisation et pas de lumière car le disjoncteur ne tenait pas. Le petit déjeuner très moyen, il ferait mieux de ne pas le mettre. Il n’y avait aucune instruction pour se garer, débrouiller vous, la boîte à clef rouillé donc très dur à ouvrir. Conclusion, très déçu.

Logement très bien situé sur le centre historique de Syracuse. La terrasse est commune mais permet d'avoir une belle vision sur les levers et couchers de soleil. Logement calme, peu bruyant. Hote très réactif et bienveillant. Cuisine accessible par escaliers.
