Comfortable, owners really quick at responding

Bit of smell downstairs

Great place, easily accommodated 6 adults and the beds were comfy. We were able to park both of our cars on the drive way which is also plus. It's close enough to the river and quay street with all the pubs, it took us maybe 20 minutes to walk.

This property was suitable for a short stay. We appreciated the use of the washing machine and kitchen.

We were surprised by our experience considering the caliber of the reviews. The condition of the property was not what we expected, with a grimy, leaky pipe right outside the back door, slightly sticky kitchen floors, gouges and markings on the walls. The doors were extremely loud with very squeaky hinges (not conducive to having multiple family members in the rooms). Frames on the wall are warped and about to fall off; the mirror in one room fell apart while no one was even in the room or interacting with it. The upstairs shower room had a glass window that made view inside the bathroom possible (very awkward for a shared space!), and within the shower room there was another uncovered/unstyled window that looked straight out to the neighbors. We had difficulty contacting the owner through the day telephone number we had been given. Any one of these things would not have been a big deal, but all of them together made for a less than stellar experience.

Location was perfect. We were able to walk in and out to the main buzz of Galway. Garden a lovely size. Host was easy to contact and quick to reply. House Was clean and showers good. Neighbours lovely & helpful.

I would put the seating area in the garden or a bench over into the right back corner to catch the sun in the evening.

Lovely home in Galway city centre. House is spotless with a beautiful garden and has all the facilities you need. Eyre square is less than a 10 minute walk away.
