Hillfields Farm Barn - A Rural Equestrian Escape

The location and living space are beautiful. It’s really spacious and the sofas are so comfy I thought I’d never get up! It’s nice and warm and the hosts are really friendly and helpful

While it’s a lovely place it could do with a bit of finesse. The doors are squeaky and when you flush the loos the whole house can hear it so it’s hard to get around quietly while others are sleeping. Unfortunately the oven wasn’t working when we stayed and there is no cooking oil or anything provided, we were only there one night so we managed but it would have been a problem for longer. One of the pop up beds hadn’t been clicked in properly so collapsed when it was sat on. I think some finishing touches just need thinking about

Very large, well furnished place. Much bigger than expected.

The property was clean tidy beautiful inside the decorating was lovely and comfortable and made u feel relaxing

Everything was perfect

We were met by Alex to give us the keys and a quick tour of the place. He showed us everything we needed to know and was super friendly. All was explained so we didn't have any questions or have to reach out during our stay.

The views from the house aren't great but you can see over the horse stables and in the fields where the horses were grazing. It really wasn't that big of a deal to us, but if you want a place with a view it's something to keep in mind.

Lovely quiet location with excellent facilities. The hosts lit the drive for us so that we could find our way easily in the dark. The kitchen was brilliantly stocked with every kitchen item you could ever want or need. We all loved it and can’t wait to stay there again. Hosts were lovely and friendly. Thorough run through how everything works in the apartment then happily leave you to settle in and enjoy! Cannot recommend enough!
