Nothing at all

A comfortable, large studio apartament in a good location. it was well equipped with lots of storage. the host was pleasant.

The washing machine was broken, according to host.

The apartment is new, quite spacious and in an excellent location. It was an easy walk to restaurants, groceries, and things to see. The host was easy to communicate with and the collection of the keys was simple. Despite my negative comments below, I thought the apartment was really nice and I would stay there again.

There are just a couple of things that prevented me from rating this property a 10. The apartment is supposed to come with a fully equipped kitchen. We were provided one large pot, one large frying pan, and one small frying pan. There were three pot lids, however, none of the lids fit any of the pots. The host should make sure the lids fit the pots and another small cooking pot would have been nice addition, While the apartment comes with a dishwasher, we did not want to put the dishwasher on for a couple of cups and plates, so some dishwashing liquid and a tea towel to dry dishes with should have been provided as an alternative. The apartment could have used a few more hooks for hanging things (specifically, a rack for coats at the front door and some extra hooks in the bathroom would have been nice). Finally, the water pressure is not very good in this apartment.

Location, short walk from train station (Brignole) and just off the main shopping strip. Close to the old town, harbor, medieval areas and the new town. Having a washing machine was great too.

A little bit noisy in the evening, but that's part of the price for the convenient location. There were clothes lines on the balcony, but a drying rack would have been handy.

Very bad communication with the hostess.The previous day of our arrival we received an email in Italian which we didn’t see as we were travelling and also as it was in Italian (we didn’t understand what it said). Hostess apparently was requesting our IDs so she could send us the code for the entrance. When we arrived we could not find the flat as there is no sign at the entrance. We tried many times to call her unfortunately with no reply. We arrived late and it was a bit frightened to arrive to your place of stay without knowing if it is the right one. Also we didn’t have the codes and on top of that no one would pick up the phone. After many attempts and after an hour we managed to go inside. Hostess could have just have instructions sent to your email with the booking confirmation (ie photo of the entrance, codes etc) in oder to avoid the hassle. Nice apartment, excellent location but definitely not an one bed apartment. More like a studio.

The apartment was easy to get to from the train (Use Station Brignole rather than Principe if arriving by train). The apartment is extremely clean and well managed. It has everything you need. The real positive point is is is around the corner from the Columbus House which sits a the foot of the old town. Lots of shopping and eateries as well as access to historic sites. Highly recommend this accommodation.

There was no hair dryer, I informed the owner and he indicated he would get one. The bed sits really low to the floor, the mattress is clean and comfortable but it may be difficult for older people to get in and out of. Also the shower, while clean and inviting had slight water pressure.
