Family Friendly 3BR Apartment in Malabe, Colombo

After a few minor misunderstandings at the beginning, we were warmly welcomed into this little corner of paradise just outside Colombo. Thanks to Chandrika, a truly wonderful host, we immediately felt at home. We are a family of four, and each of us had a perfectly furnished private bedroom — a real comfort during our stay. The apartment is beautifully maintained with great attention to detail. The residence itself is safe, with guards at the entrance, and offers excellent facilities: a beautiful swimming pool and a tennis court, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Although slightly outside the city center, tuk-tuks made it easy and convenient to reach everything we needed. Breakfast, prepared daily by Chandrika, was always delicious, generous, and varied — a real highlight of our stay. In short, this place is not only worth trying once, but definitely worth coming back to. Highly recommended!

The apartment was clean and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable self catered stay. The facilities available in the complex were very well maintained and inviting.

Upon arrival the number given to call did not connect, leading to us waiting around for about half an hour unsure of what to do. This left us worried for a while, thinking we might have been scammed. Eventually we had contact from our host. We had organised a time for our breakfast to be delivered, which was inclusive. We asked for breakfast at 8.30am, and our host arrived before 8am, and we were not ready. This would have been a bigger issue if we were still sleeping. We also organised for our host to meet us at 7.30pm on the night of our departure, to checkout. I had booked the full nights stay so we could use the apartment till we needed to. Our host again arrived early, before 7pm, and proceeded to sit on the couch whilst we were showering, packing etc. This was very uncomfortable and eventually my husband asked her to leave. In summary the host needs to be more professional with her timings and guest requests.

Swimming pool is very nice . Quite and clean calm place.

The hostess entered the apartment we were staying in without our permission when we were not there. She also gave us only one key to enter. This caused us a lot of inconvenience. The key money we left with them has not been returned to us yet.
