Perfect City-Break Apartment in CPH

Clean, central and had all necessary equipment. Easy access to sights, shopping, restaurants and transport. Quiet bedroom. Quick response from host to our enquiry.

Challenging to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. It got hot unless we kept window open, which was not a good idea because of noise from the busy street outside. The host warned us beforehand, but our ear plugs weren’t enough to keep noise out. Occationally people smoking on the street below polluted the air inside. Nothing wrong with the apartment itself.

It was spacious and bright

It was pretty dirty (crumbs on the floor and furniture), the 3rd bed (couch) was located in the living room that was unbearably lound all night and early morning. It got very hot and it was unthinkable to open the window. Also, when asked about a late check-out (2 additional hours), we were offered to pay an additional 55% of the price/night we payed in order to stay a little longer which is audacious!

The property was clean

The property is listed as central but not until you book do you get told to bring ear plugs! The noise from the street means it’s pretty hard to get to sleep before midnight. Also, it is not possible to ventilate the bedroom overnight securely. This was a problem for us as we had 20 degrees during the day meaning the bedroom was very hot. The shower is also broken and the kettle/jug pours badly meaning it’s very easy to burn yourself. Can’t recommend the property I’m afraid.

Theres a takeaway shop directly opposite which is open to 5am. So anyone using the sofa bed at the front of the property would have noisy sleep. Earplugs were recommended close to arrival but would be better to make this clear up front in the listing.

The location of the apartment was fantastic, slap bang in the middle of the city centre! The price was also very reasonable for Copenhagen.

We were woken up the first 2 mornings with banging and drilling from 4am from the apartment below us. After the 2nd morning we contacted the owners of the apartment who agreed to contact the building management. The following morning we were still woken bit at 7.30am instead of 4am. Such a shame as the apartment was fantastic other than that.

A very beautiful apartment. Perfect location, close to restaurants, in the ideal center. It had all the amenities, blankets, towels, shampoos. The apartment is renovated and very beautifully furnished.

We requested to be accommodated earlier than the announced check-in time of 4 PM, if possible. The owner informed us that this was possible, and we could check in at 1 PM. We paid 500 DKK for this service. However, as soon as we made the payment, we were informed that the early check-in time was changed from 1 PM to 2 PM. We are grateful for the opportunity for early check-in, but it was not fair for the check-in time to be changed immediately after the payment was made.

Location was excellent, close to CPH train station and the city centre

The key box is difficult to access and needs relocating. There is no lift and the staircase is circular making it a bit difficult to get large suitcases upstairs.
