Telford St 4 Bedroom House Inverness

It was a good size with two bathrooms.

The location, although beside the canal, was a bit run down, and the interior was a bit tired.

The house was well furnished and a great place to end our vacation. The host was responsive with texting. The instructions were funny and mostly clear on the digital house guide. I was a bit uncertain as to the location safety from the photos provided, but it was fine. The house is attached to a vet clinic. The parking is free and in the side of the building. This was safe and surprisingly easy to access the house. We loved having the living area where we could just sit and make a phone call in private. The rooms had a space to hang jackets and were large enough to spread out with the ledges and shelving. This was the first bathrooms we encountered in Scotland that were spacious and had a place to put toiletries and clothes! We also loved having the standing mirror that was moveable, so you could see yourself when you blow dried your hair. Genius, in my opinion. It was a great experience for all 7 of us lady travelers.

My biggest complaint was the beds. The one I slept in I could feel the springs in the mattress. I think a bed pad was needed on the top of the mattress. The other ladies had the same complaint. The other thing we didn’t like was the number of stairs. The landing area was convenient to unload jackets and take off shoes, but for older ladies it was tough to use the upstairs restroom because of all the stairs.

The place is clean and beds were comfortable. A pleasant 15 min walk into town. Supermarkets are very close, as are some takeaways.

Kitchen only had 5 forks for 6 people and no bottle opener. Furnishings were not a high standard. It is difficult to read the numbers on the lock-box at night, so a lamp outside the front door would be a good idea.

Very clean house, canal view from the living room gives us peace and relax mode, parking also wasn't a problem. One thing they need to add is, they have to put the lock to the inside main door once you get into upstair ( I felt a bit of unsecure bcoz there is another door in downstair I really don't know what's in there but if someone else also rented the same time of me they can also can access into my rooms and can steal or messing up around, even cleaner don't need to enter in without the guests knowing tho)

Value for the money also ok, but it could have been better if it's a bit less Otherthen no issues to worry about, I would recommend to everyone

Street noise audible, building not so nice from outside, but in great shape inside

Spacious. Very nice bathrooms. Convenient to downtown.

Mattresses were ok, not great.

This was a fantastic place spacious clean and comfortable for a family of 5, 4 adults 1 teenager. The location was lovely next to a canal a short drive to historical sites and close to supermarkets and shops. Would definitely stay again if back in Inverness.
