"A pleasant and enjoyable stay."

Very close to Notarbartolo rail station so easy to get to from Palermo airport by train or to get from there to Palermo Centrale. Friendly host. Clean accommodation, Coffee and tea provided, comfortable bed and plenty of power sockets for charging phone, ipad etc. There is kettle and a small fridge for storing drinks and food which is useful. There is a good selection of shops, bars etc nearby.

Just a minor thing. There was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe but only 4 coat hangers. For a room of triple occupancy this is not really enough.

I made a mistake on my booking and they could easily have refused me at the door, but they were super nice and still accommodated my special requirements, as well as just generally being lovely people

"Comfy (but no AC)"

The rooms are comfortable and there"s plenty of room, the kitchen is large and suitable to be used by a party of many, the bathroom is clean and they provide their own hair dryers.

No air conditioner in summer in Palermo is a bit of a suffering, I wouldn"t recommend it for a longer stay. Also, if you plan to visit the historical sites of the city you"ll need to travel to and from, which may be budgeted as "hidden cost".
