Gemoor Khar- Manor House

I stayed 4 nights at Gemoor-Khar in mid May. The location is superb. The staff are lovely. They provided a room heater on request. The bedroom was comfortable and nicely furnished and sheets and towels of good quality. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. Spectacular views from bedroom, library and eating area as well as the guesthouse grounds. I had a great visit to the Nyingma monastery 20 mins walk above the guesthouse. The food was really tasty. Evening menu is set and different dishes were presented each day - requests were also catered for. Breakfast was buffet style and tasty. The staff were keen to help and Mr Mohan the manager was readily available to answer any enquiries. I hope to visit again!

I didn't know about the library until the last 2 days - a warm room with some interesting books and history of property. Full of sunlight during the cold days.

The location was excellent. Offering scenic view of the Lahaul Valey. Also the facilities were good. Especially the mattress heating. The staff were cordial and polite. Also the food options at the hotel were appetizing and easy on the palate.

The buffet food although good was quite expensive. The same goes for the room costs. Despite the excellent facilities and the helpful staff the cost of the room was a bit on the higher side in my opinion.

Excellent location, beautiful views of the mountains , the food is freshly cooked. While it's not like a usual hotel with ala carte options the set menu for lunch, dinner and quality was extraordinary + good value for money

Nice property located on outskirts of Jispa with a good Mountain View. it is located on the highway to Leh. It is a good place to take logical break on way to Leh.

There is not much to do outside in close vicinity of Hotel. You can possibly walk down to the river flowing down but we did not find any good trail for that and had to go via farms.

I liked the accomodation and the heating bed

Food was very poor. very little options for the money they charge. Rs 7000. No Wifi or any other internet source
