A de Carmiña

We had a wonderful one night stay at A de Carmina. The apartment had been recently renovated so everything was so well appointed. Rooms are private with locks so if someone else is there also, you feel safe. And the staff was very responsive when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again while on the Camino.

The apartment is a little off the Camino but it was easy to get back on.

It was modern and clean

It was very difficult to find, even with Google, due to the fact there’s no street number and it looked different to the image on the website. There were no restaurants open after 5PM. There was no bedside lamp only overhead light in the bedroom

Amazing large room and bathroom with access to a wonderful communal area and kitchen. All very modern. A great stop to shorten the last leg of Camino to Santiago. Added bonus of a washing machine and a large separate tumble drier. Communication excellent.

Near the Camino trail. New modern interior design. Private ensuite bathroom. Beautiful decor. Automated entry.

Significant problem getting adequate heat in the winter. We were quite cold the entire evening of our visit but warmed up once we were in bed. We checked that all the radiators were on but seemed to turn off randomly and were regulated off site. Unfortunately the host said she/he couldn’t adjust it and it was reading as 20deg. That was not our experience. I think this would be an ideal place in the spring/summer as this problem would resolve itself.

Super clean and modern. Comfy beds. Washing machine with clothes line. Spotless communal kitchen. Excellent choice for pilgrims wanting to break up the last stage of the Portuguese and arrive fresh in Santiago the next day!

It was a beautiful place to stay! It was so clean and new. The rooms were comfortable and they had a full kitchen and a laundry room!

The directions on how to get in were a little confusing. However, the owner was very helpful.
