AUGreat location: 5 min walk to centre of town. Large internal space; generous sized rooms. Very comfortable bed and lounge space. Lots of good natural light with lovely views over river to the town from master bedroom and lounge/kitchen. Large wrap around balcony. Safe secure building and area. Loads of shops cafes restaurants very close. Generous host: gift of Prosecco in fridge.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

GBThe view was lovely. It was a nice flat in a good position, spoilt only by the cleaning.
The flat was not cleaned well. There were bits in the bedside drawers, we had to vacuum the carpets as there were bits all over them. The master bedroom has cobwebs above the bed, we removed some over the door! In the en-suite the previous person had forgotten to empty the bin, so it was full up with sanitary & medical products. The floor of the shower is very slippery & dangerous, we had to buy a rubber safety mat, which we left for others use. The shower head does not remain up & sprays down the wall & anywhere. The floor in the en suite felt sticky. One other important thing that needs to be mentioned is when my adult daughter shut the door of the 2nd bedroom, she couldn’t get out again and she had to shout for my husband, who had to open it firmly from the outside. The owner should be getting good reviews as it’s a nice flat in a good position, but the cleaning badly lets it down.

USThe location was perfect...on the quiet side of the River Ouse yet easy walking distance to key attractions like York Minster. The kitchen was very well equipped compared to other apartments we have rented on this trip.
