This was a comfortable stay with a very good bed

This is suitable for a one night stay.These days a mini fridge for milk,a modern TV rather than a 12 year old 18 inch Technika,and wall sockets rather than an old extension lead should be standard for a £100 a night stay especially over a longer stay.

"Exceptional"

The host was exceptional, leaving fresh milk & bottled water in the room. Gave tips on where to go for an evening meal - the pub recommended, the food was excellent. Lovely grounds - especially the garden. Very quiet apart from singing birds.

A free standing mirror would be beneficial for shaving, at the wash basin - there was a mirror on the wall nearby.

we had a fantastic stay at Gills! They were both so helpful, we left our sunglasses at their property and they were happy to help us and send it to the Next address!

Nothing, the breakfast was amazing and eggs cooked perfectly!

"Felt like a break not a work night"

Lovely old house, superb hosts- breakfast was delicious

Nothing. It is not a “standard” hotel however so if you are looking for a sterile environment suggest a premier inn or something instead.
